Should be fun!!!
Current mood: excited
Today should be a fun and hopefully inspiring and uplifting experience. I get to go to Tumwater (for those who don't know where that is, it's a couple hours drive south of where I live on the I-5 corridor) to go to a open team meeting for Tastefully Simple. Why, pray tell am I going all the way down there for a stupid meeting? Because the President and CEO of the company, one of the 2 founding partners, will be at this team meeting. I figure it's probably going to be my only chance to meet her, or at least only chance in the next few years, as I just don't have the funding to be able to go to a national convention all the way in Minnesota. And this is the first time she's visited WA in the past 5 years. So I figure if she's going to make the effort to come out here to see/meet us, then I should make the effort as well. She's supposed to be speaking at the meeting I guess and I've heard that she's a very inspirational speaker. So hopefully I'll get the motivation and knowledge I need to help build a better business and build my client base and get my crap together and make some money. Wish me luck ;) And the bonus is I don't have to drive. My team leader is picking me up on the way down, (she's coming from Coupeville, which is another hour or so northwest of me even) so that's way cool. I don't have to spend $40 in gas to go, lol!!
