my landlady
Rocks. So you've all read my bitching about this place that said they would help us then has us jumping through hoops and then decides they don't really want to help us. If they didn't want to help us in the first place, they should have said so instead of stringing me along. Well, I was talking to my landlady about this yesterday on the phone. Last night I got this email from said place:
I just received a lovely e-mail from your landlord. Can you give me a "We'll
pay this much on this date, this much on this date,.... until _______ when we
should be caught up."? Then I can do something.
Now, mind you, I already sent her this information yesterday morning. I sent her our 2 different plans on how to fix our rent situation based on the different factors that could play either in our total favor or still in our favor but not as much of a quick and easy fix. So since I also sent this information to my landlady so she could take it to the property owner, I copied/pasted the info back into an email to her and asked her if it was sufficient to her as it was to my landlord. I know I shouldn't be snotty in any way shape or form towards someone who is prospectively helping me save my place of residence, but let me tell ya, I don't think I'd recommend turning to these people in a time of crisis or need to anyone. They've had me on such a roller coaster over the past month it's ridiculous, going back and forth about whether or not they will help us. You just cannot do that to someone who is desperate and in this sort of situation. You can't give them false hope, turn around and tear them down, to turn around and give them false hope again, and continue that cycle. So I'm glad my landlady emailed them and told them how hard we've been struggling and trying to make ends meet. We've been doing the best we can with what we had and sometimes that's not enough... Anyhow, thanks to all our friends who've been a HUGE help and support through all of this!!!!!! We love you guys!!!!
