Another Deployment, another day...

So my husband has left again on yet another deployment. This one is to afghanistan for 4 months. Nothing new... Except I still don't get what they're doing sending the navy to afghanistan... The stuff I've heard from other squadrons about the place is horrid. The base they will be on is in the middle of a giant land mine field. They aren't allowed to step off of the pavement, if they do, their life is in the hands of the higher powers that be. Good luck to all our guys and may they come home safe and sound!
