Damn it Jim!

oops, haven't posted for a while.. been a loooong few weeks here. me being sick, kids being sick, husband coming home and getting sick... blah! Luckily my best friend/the boys' godmother took the boys (all 3!) for the weekend to give me and my hubby a break. We got to go on a date, whoo hoo! Went out to dinner and then drove an hour and a half home. Whoo. Hoo. We were just exhausted though, it'd been a long day. So last night I made us a really grubbin dinner. I searched online for the recipe for Bucco Di Beppo's Lemon Chicken and made that with a salad and fettucini alfredo. Mmmmm Italian food... my favorite... I need more recipes I think... Had some good wine to go with it and sat and watched a movie together. First meal I've had in a while where there wasn't at least one kid either asking me for something or wanting to be held. It's been strangely quiet around here.... I think I'm ready to take the kids back now... I don't think I like the quiet as much anymore. Guess I've gotten used to the "pitter patter-stomp stomp-fall down" of "little feet". Anyhow guess I'm rambling or something....
