It IS a mad mad world, or at least a mad mad house!

So yeah, I just decided to start this blog for the hell of it today. Not much else to do since we're a bunch of sickko's this week. My wonderful husband is in Vegas without me. Alex has a stuffy nose and has to sleep sitting up, which isn't easy since all he wants is to sleep on someone's chest for comfort. Skye and I managed to contract Norwalk Virus, landing us both in the er. My poor little guy wound up with an IV and blood work because they were afraid he had appendicitis since his abdomen hurt. Well he just power puked for the past 6 hours, who's stomach wouldn't hurt?! But, better safe than sorry! Apparently it's running rampant on the island because they saw about 40 people in 2 days in the er with the crap. And that was just the beginning of it, since it's so damn contagious... Blech.. Thank god my sister is up helping me take care of the kids while Steve is gone. I would have killed myself by now! She's crashed out on the couch now getting some much needed rest. She didn't get to bed until around 4 this morning because of the baby. She's now had about 6 hours of sleep I think. Anyhow... I should try to get some dishes or something done... Already catching up on the laundry since Skye has managed to throw up on all his bedding and half his wardrobe. Just praying now that this is the last of this crap in our house... hoping my oldest, baby and sister don't come down with it. That would suck much arse. Thank GOD Steve will be home tomorrow... Not only do I miss him, I wouldn't mind handing off some of the duties of cleaning up after us sickko's to him.
