Dave Matthews!

Was excellent! I had such a wonderful time there! We camped out at the Gorge Amphetheater campground, which is one of the most chaotic campgrounds I've ever seen, lol. It was great fun though. I finally broke down and tried a jagerbomb and I have to admit I liked it. Pretty tasty. Though I got mild heat stroke because I wasn't consuming enough water for the heat. Nothing like naked drunk people, burning tents, and 2 am drunken serenades by someone who can no longer speak english because they're so drunk, let alone sing. he he he.. Yeah... great times... I can't wait until we go again to see Tom Petty in a couple weeks. That's going to be freaking awesome. Since it was live and learn with this one, we know what to bring, what not to bring and that we need to bring a TON more water with us (and a much larger tent, lol!) I'll post photo's when I get my own computer up and going online again....

So things are settling down a bit around here. The daily grind has me so busy that I haven't had any real time to look for a job. I need to hop on that quickly. Not that I really want to, but eh, gotta do it! I've got to get some money coming in, because living off of $600/month isn't going to cut it by any means. I've got one party scheduled now for september, and I need to ask a couple more people to do parties as well... Hopefully those will sprout some more parties! Anyhow, not much going on that's different. Still don't have my computer up and running because I can't get it to hook up to the net. Blasted thing... It thinks it needs a router I think.. Maybe today I'll look into getting one....

Whew!

Well, we're almost completely moved. Got to get the dog still, though I don't know what to do with her. Trying to find a place to keep her. She's so depressed it's just killing me. I feel just awful :( I went and got 2 of the cats yesterday... Bella and Gimpy got out one of the windows and are missing... I hope they come back soon :'( Skye is completely heartbroken over it... At least we still have Bailey and Milo... My favorites of the litter anyhow. Though Gimpy was Alex's favorite, he'd run after him calling him "p-p". Anyhow, I guess I'll update more later, I need to run to babies r us to get an extension for my baby gate so alex isn't tumbling down the stairs like a slinky later....

Well, we did it. We moved out. It's not been easy at all. Unfortunately, all the pets are still up there, and I need to find a dog sitter for Missy and do something with all the cats. I just know Bella is pregnant again. She went into heat and ripped the screens out of the windows and got out :S argh... Oh well, so is life. Things have been very stressful trying to do the move and settle in and everything. I have a huge list of stuff to do, but I'm taking some time out to catch up on here and just breathe for a few. Blogging surely is a good outlet for that sometimes. I at least have some of the things on my long list of stuff to do marked off, so that's all good. Makes me feel like less of a bum. I need to run to the store in a bit and pick up a few things though. I feel like such a mooch already, and we've been here for 2 days. Today I need to grab a newspaper and look for a job. At some point I'll need to go reg the boys for school too.. probably in a couple weeks... AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH so much to dooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rough Day...

To be a Davis I guess... It starts off with Alex, falling and injuring himself too many times to count today. I think he has another ear infection, because he seems to have no balance at all. Then there's poor Skye... Kid is riding his bike and has a bee fly up his shirt and it stings him 5 times. He crashes his bike trying to get the bee out of his shirt and scrapes himself all up. Thank god for helmets (yesterday he tried to go off a jump and flew over the handlebars and landed on his head and back). Then there's Ian... Trips over a rock and biffs it on the sidewalk scraping both knees, elbow, hands and arm. Stubs toe, gets beat up by baby brother, manages to break a thumbnail and have it bleed... Sheesh....

so tired...

I hate it when people intentionally keep you up just to be a pain in the ass. Between Steve and Alex last night I got very little sleep and I'm totally dragging ass today. Which I think was Steve's intention since I have the van packed up mostly and almost ready to move. I'll be finishing off this load in a little while and taking it down this morning, coming home and doing another load today. My hope is to be out of here tomorrow. Beds and all... Well, off I go to take a shower and pack a few more things to toss in the van to go... argh.

well, I've got one load moved. Didn't realize how much stuff I'd acquired for my business. That was one load in and of itself. But then, a lot was glass, so it was packed differently... It's hard to pack when everything you plan on taking with you, or at least most of it, is stuff you use daily... It's slow going, but I'm supposed to have a couple friends come help, so that's all good. Just need to scrounge up some gas money too... argh. Think I'll cash in my coin jug... should have about $20 in there.... Well, bank is open, think I'll go do that now while I'm thinking about it!

If only I had the $ to afford a uhaul, I'd be almost totally out of here today... All I'm taking are the essentials, I can get more *things*. This is in light of recent household happenings. It's not considered safe here any longer, and I'm taking my kids, sister and pets and getting the f*** outta dodge.
