Bestest Christmas Present...

So it's a little late, but that's fine :D I got the gift of a small grey-ish kitty from a couple friends of mine. I've named her Bella... She is very cute... made my day :D

YES!!!

So we've finally beaten the nasty nasty flu bug I think.. Alex is the only one holding on to any part of it, but then again, it could be teething now that's causing that... Either way, glad to be done with it!

Blech!

So, we're on our third day of vomit and shit... yea! Got to love sick children. And sick children who share their germs with your healthy children and get them sick. I think we're starting to beat it though... my poor washer though... not sure it can handle washing another pillow! (good thing I bought vinyl pillow covers today, avoid this issue the next time we have a stomach flu!) I'm ready for another vacation now... ugh....

And it's Monday Again...

So thanks to everyone who came out to spend time and get drunk with me friday night. It was awesome to see you guys again... I miss you all greatly and really cannot wait to move back to civilization and be social again!!! I had a lot of fun and the best part was just being able to spend time with people who care on my birthday. The bonus of presents was cool too, didn't expect any. The bouncy ball rocks :D Hid it from the kids so they don't steal it, he he he... My dog has now recovered from her spaz out over too many large males being in her house... Anyhow, it's really earlier than I care to be up, and I'm only up because I had a spaz out and thought I lost an important set of keys (found them on top of the entertainment center) so now that I've found them, I think I'm going to head back to bed and try and get some more sleep before Alex wakes up....

Happy Birthday TO ME!!!

It's my birthday today, and not I'm not giving up my age... I'm having a party tonight at my house, and my best friend is taking the kids for the weekend. It's going to be a fun time, I can't wait! :D

Amazing...

It's really amazing what being happy can change in your life. For instance, I've lost 20 lbs in the past month and a half. Not because I've started a diet or am exercising more or anything like that. But because I've been happy and not sitting in front of my computer trying to eat my woes away. So I guess technically I have gone on a diet... the I'm happy so now I'm not stuffing my face anymore diet. Just one little change in my life... the love of a good man and the happiness he brings me... thanks hon... ;)

Happy Birthday to ME!

So, it's my birthday on friday, one year closer to 30 (weeee!). I was informed today, that not only is my bestest friend in the world taking my oldest two children, but the baby as well, for the weekend! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! So now... what to do with all my free time!? Friday is my birthday party, for those of you who care to show up that aren't going to the Slayer show instead (and understandably so, lol). Wish I still lived on the mainland, it'd be more convenient, that's for sure. But I will have some interesting peeps here from the navy community... Bunch of lushes that they are. So it should be entertaining at the very least.
